R&B Chart Watch: Keri Hilson Snatches The Crown From The Dream


Debuting at No. 1 on the 'Top R&B Albums Chart' this week is Keri Hilson with her first album In A Perfect World.

In A Perfect World, which features appearances from Kanye West,Ne-Yo and Akon, scanned 94,400 discs in its opening week.

The Dream slips to No.2. Love Vs Money pushed 35,900 units this week. After 3 weeks, the album has sold 242,900 copies.

Posted at No. 3 is Beyonce. I Am...Sasha Fierce bagged up 22,700 units this week. So far, the album has sold 2,026,600 copies.

Right behind her is Jamie Foxx at No. 4. Intuition shelved off 21,700 discs this week, pushing the album's total sales to 786,800.

Kanye West holds fort at No. 5. 13,600 folks picked up 808's & Heartbreak this week. The album's tally stands at 1,459,500.

Seated at No. 6 is Keyshia Cole. Different Me reeled in 12,100 units this week. After 15 weeks on the charts, the album has sold 813,500 copies.

Ne-Yo slips two spots to No. 7. Year Of The Gentleman shelled out 10,900 discs this week. To date, the set has sold 998,200 copies.

Chilling at No. 8 is Akon. Freedom continues to keep registers ringing as it scoops up 10,800 units this week. The album's tally stands at 577,100.

Holding fort at No. 9 is India Arie. Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics bagged up 9,900 units this week, pushing the album's total sales to 184,700.

Wrapping up the Top 10 is J-Holiday. Round 2 shifted 9,900 units this week. So far, the album has sold a total of 81,600 copies.
